Research Interests:
Numerical simulation of flow and heat/mass transport phenomena involved in the analysis and design of solar and other energy systems. Indicative topics :

• Thermal storage tanks: natural and mixed convective flow and heat transfer, laminar and turbulent flow. Above- and in-ground storage tanks, coupling with ground heat transfer.
• Flow and heat/mass transfer in greenhouse-type solar stills, pure thermal and double-diffusive natural convection
• Flow and heat transfer in solar collectors with evacuated tubes.
• Mechanical and solar-assisted convective drying processes
