Thermal performance for indirectely heated storage water heaters (EN 12897)

Scope: The Standard establishes test procedures for characterizing the thermal caracteristics of indirectly heated unvented (closed ) storage water heaters. Specific test are:

1. Hot water capacity (Clause A.5.1) and reheat performance - Primary Heating Power (Clause A .5.2) test according to the EN12897 -2006 Standard (*)
2. Standing heat loss of the store ( Annex B ) according to the EN12897 -2006 Standard (*)
3. Same as 1. but for four (4) different flow rates - based on the EN 12897-2006 Standard (*)
4. Storage tank heat-loss coefficient (according to the ISO 9459-2 Standard)

(*) Not included in the scope of accreditation
